Scooby Doo, Where are You? On Your Checks!
Most people grew up watching Scooby Doo and his band of mystery-solving friends. Scooby and Company has been solving mysteries and uncovering the truth long before the Scully and Mulder came onto the scene. If you are a fan of Scooby and the gang, and you want a way to spruce up your checks, then you might want to think about purchasing Scooby Doo checks.
Since 1969, Scooby Doo has been a popular cartoon character. His first cartoon, "Scooby Doo-Where Are You?" has changed a lot over the years, but he is still the same-scared of ghosts and always hungry.
Scooby was nothing without his companions, and especially his best friend, Shaggy. Together, Fred, Velma, Scooby, Daphne, and Shaggy solved mysteries that involved ghosts and haunted buildings-or did they? At least until recently, the ghosts themselves usually ended up being an opportunist trying to get the best of a kind hearted person.
The Scooby Doo cartoon was originated as an attempt to get away from more violent cartoons like Space Ghost and Johnny Quest. Few people know that the Scooby Doo cartoon was based on a combination of the I Love a Mystery radio show and the old black and white television show "The Many Loves of Doby Gillis." Scooby himself got his name from the Frank Sinatra scat in his famous song "Strangers in the Night."
There are several check series to pick from if think that you would like to carry the team around in your wallet.
One popular check series shows Scooby and Company as they search for clues to their latest mystery. Scooby is featured on all four of the checks in this series, but you can see Daphne, Fred, Velma, and Shaggy in them as well. After all, where would Scooby be without his friends?
A similar check series also features the gang, but the Mystery Machine is included, too, as well as an image of Scooby eating some of his well-known Scooby Snacks. Scooby wouldn't be Scooby without some food-even when he is being pursued by ghosts.
You can also purchase matching checkbook covers, contact cards, and address labels to go with your new checks, too.
If going to the bank, trying to find a design that you liked, and paying a high fee stopped you from getting checks in the past then you are in luck. You don't have to do any of that anymore thanks to the internet. Today, you can buy your checks online from a secure website and not only save as much as 50% off of what you might have spent at your local bank, but you will also have more check designs to choose from.
Plain bank checks are boring. If you hand someone a Scooby Doo check, however, you will be guaranteed to get a smile. People are sentimental by nature and most people grew up at least catching an episode of the famous dog from time to time. Even today, more than 40 years after the beloved dog debuted he still manages to sell millions of dollars worth of items.
